Meet the Artist
My name is Jay Qin. I’m an artist, entrepreneur, content creator, and activist based in San Francisco.
As a creative, I strive to explore the intersection between visual communication and technology in an effort to combine storytelling, illustration, and multimedia platforms to translate real world experiences and identities into the digital world. I believe technology and the internet do not exist in a vacuum, and digital content is best rooted in authenticity.
I have always loved making, giving me experience in a variety of creative pursuits like photography, painting, illustration, and writing (just to name a few). I’ve been a casual Twitch streamer since 2015 and in 2018 decided to open my own online storefront while attending college.
I graduated a semester early in December 2019 with a BA in Art & Design from the University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art & Design. My concentration was illustration, social media, and visual communication with the intent to pursue a career at the crossroads of art and technology in Silicon Valley. When not pursuing my art degree, I spent my time in college on social justice work, media production, and learning game design.
Nowadays you can find me working on freelance commissions and running my small online storefront, in addition to playing video games and exploring San Francisco.

Why Jaychi?
Jaychi is a combination of Jay and the pronunciation of my last name “Qin” (pronounced like “chin”). It also sounds like mochi, which is a food I like a lot!
How long does it take to ship out orders?
Most orders are shipped out within 3-5 business days of receiving them. Domestic orders are done via USPS First Class, and are typically delivered within 3 business days of being shipped. International orders are sent via USPS First Class Mail International, and typically take 7-21 business days to arrive depending on the location. Please be aware there may be shipping delays due to the current COVID-19 global pandemic.
Do you do returns/exchanges?
Products can only be returned or exchanged if they are damaged. Please email me at jaychiart@gmail.com with an image of the damaged product if you wish to return or exchange. (Please note: B Grade sales are final and are not eligible for any returns or exchanges.)
